At Lake City Community Hospital our Physical Therapy Program provides treatments such as exercise, ultrasound, and whirlpool to alleviate pain and restore function for inpatients and outpatients with a variety of medical conditions.  Our new state-of-the-art equipment; along with our highly trained staff, work together with you and your physician to help restore your optimum physical health.

Credentialed physical therapist, evaluate and develop treatment plans with goals for our patients.  Various techniques may be used including ultrasound, whirlpool, electrical muscle stimulation, manual techniques and specialized exercise equipment to assist your return to normal activity.

We can help you:

• Alleviate pain in muscles or joints

• Relieve stiffness in muscles or joints

• Increase strength in muscles

• Prevent or overcome falls

• Heal open wounds and burns
